Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize has made a bold decision on the DStv Premiership outfit's future regarding the changing of coaches for next season.
After securing an impressive third-place finish last season, Royal AM lost head coach John Maduka to neighbours Maritzburg United, as well as several starting players including Victor Lestoalo.
The ensuing chaos also reflected on the pitch, as Thwihli Thwahla struggled to replicate last season's form and fell as far as 13 on the DStv Premiership table with Dan Malesela, Khabo Zondo and Abram Nteo serving as co-coaches.

Meanwhile, Maduka's stay at United was also short-lived. The Mozambican tactician was sacked nine games into his tenure, leaving the Team of Choice at the foot of the DStv Premiership.
Maduka was roped back to the Pietermaritzburg-based side in February, with Malesela having left for for Marumo Gallants.
Since his return, Royal AM have somewhat rescued their season, sitting at position 11 with one match to play and just three points adrift sixth-placed Sekhukhune United.
Mkhize confirmed that Maduka will be staying on as head coach and that the club is not planning on making any coaching changes.
"I'm person for stability and I think we've arrived at point where we understand that we are not going to make changes to our technical team," Mkhize told MSW.
"As I said that before, if I had my way, I was not going to change the technical team [at the start of the season]. To me, stability is key."
Mkhize also revealed that the club has parted ways with as many as six players, including club captain Nascimento while Khabo Zondo heads the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team and serving as Technical Director.
Thwihli Thwahla will end their season with a clash against Richards Bay to be played at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday.
Kick off is at 15:00.
