The 32-year-old has been a solid option throughout the years but had his fortunes going south last season after playing only six games.
Lingwati confirms that he is no longer with Royal AM and is plotting his next move.
"I'm not with the club anymore because of what happened with matters relating to my contract and payment of my salary," confirms Lingwati, while choosing not to provide further detail.
He joins Menzi Masuku and Ruzaigh Gamildien in the list of those that have left recently.
Last season, the club had Tebogo Potsane, Lantshene Phalane, Happy Jele, Ricardo Nascimento, Shaun Mogaila, Elias Pelembe and Tshepo Rikhotso leaving with all this happening while they are serving a transfer ban.

In January this year, Royal AM were placed under further restrictions with another three-window transfer ban in Ricardo Nascimento's matter.
