Royal AM have been left walking alone in the cold as the only PSL club still serving a transfer ban following the latest updates from FIFA.
The KwaZulu-Natal outfit have not been able to conduct any incoming transfer business since July 3, 2023, when FIFA imposed the first sanction in a breach of contract case relating to Samir Nurkovic.

In January this year, Royal AM were 'handcuffed' with another three-window transfer ban in Ricardo Nascimento's matter.
For all the departures at the club who have included Menzi Masuku, Ruzaigh Gamildien, Tebogo Potsane, Elias Pelembe, Lantshene Phalane and Happy Jele, amongst others, since the beginning of last season, the club has not been able to bring in new signings.
Nurkovic's matter – which involves millions of rands with an annual 5% interest charged – has dragged to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), where a second deadline of September 13 has been placed for the issuing of the decision.
The Serbian is represented by Davor Lazic in this matter, while Royal AM have Leruma Thobejane as their legal head.
While the case remains hanging, Nurkovic is now on the books of TS Galaxy, where he scored 10 goals last season.
Davor Lazic, who works as his representative, has told this website that they are awaiting CAS's decision, but there could still be yet another postponement.
This means Royal AM could still be banned beyond September 20 when the local transfer window closes.
Nascimento's case remains unresolved despite Royal AM claiming for months that they have settled the issue with the Brazilian.
This case is now complicated by the fact that the agent who negotiated Nascimento's deal at Royal AM [Marcelo Robalinho] is also claiming his dues.
Both Nascimento and Robalinho now want to settle concurrently, with Robalinho claiming 6% commission of the total contract.

Nascimento spent just over a year at Royal AM before returning home to Brazil.
Pedro Felipe Gomes da Silva, partner of RA Law firm based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, who represent Nascimento, tells KickOff that the matter remains unresolved.
