Orlando Pirates' new signing Thulani Hlatshwayo will be looking to have a discussion with midfield star Thembinkosi Lorch following his arrival at the club.
Hlatshwayo recently joined Pirates reportedly on a five-year deal from Bidvest Wits, prior to the club's sale to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila ahead of the 2020/21 season.

The 30-year-old has a long history with the number-3 shirt, dating back to his debut season with Ajax Cape Town in 2009/10 and extending to his six seasons with Wits.
However, at the Soweto giants, Lorch has owned the number since 2017/18 when its previous owner Patrick Phungwayo departed, which presents a challenge in the dressing room.
'Tyson', having previously worked with 'Nyoso' in the Bafana Bafana setup, has discussed how he plans to resolve the issue while discussing his connection with the number.

"The number 3 jersey has been with me for my entire career. I had the number 3 at Ajax Cape Town where I had a successful spell there, then I moved up to Johannesburg to join Bidvest Wits," Hlatshwayo told the Bucs website.
"When I got to Wits, I was fortunate that the number 3 was also available and hence I took it over. I have become fond of that number; I have a personal bond with it.
"But now I come into a team where the number has an owner in Thembinkosi Lorch. Whenever we were in camp with Bafana Bafana we used to joke about it that when I come [to Pirates] I will take the number from him.

"But having said that, we haven't had the opportunity to talk about it since I've arrived. But I also will understand if he has a close connection with the number, I will look for an alternative."
