With the DStv Premiership having returned from the mid-season break, here is a look at which players are now leading the race for the coveted PSL Golden Boot.
Last week, the South African top-flight returned to screens across the country following a more-than month-long mid-season break after players returned from the 2021 CAF Africa Cup of Nations and inaugural DStv Compact Cup.

Reigning DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns were the first to take to the pitch in their 2-0 win over Chippa United, although leading goalscorer Peter Shalulile was unable to find the back of the net in that match or in the subsequent clash against Baroka.
The Namibia hitman remains the top goalscorer in the league with 13 goals this season although his lead has been cut to three after nearest rival Victor Letsoalo netted the only goal in Royal AM's win over Sekhukhune United on Tuesday.
Chippa United's Cameroonian forward, Bienvenu Eva Nga, trails in third place with seven goals for the campaign, ahead of the quartet of Luvuyo Memela, Keagan Dolly, Mduduzi Mdantsane and Thamsanqa Gabuza.
All four of the latter have scored six goals for their respective teams this season and are separated only by matches played or, where that number is the same, by actual minutes on the pitch this season.
