Sikhosana says the name came from the late legendary football journalist Sibusiso Mseleku, who also nicknamed our national team 'Bafana Bafana'.
"The way I used to run it was like I'm galloping like a horse you know, running so quick. There was a television series in the old TV4, there was a racehorse that was ridden by a lady called 'The Legs Of Thunder'. But that horse it kept on losing so I don't know why they gave me that name because me I was always a winner inside the field.
"I was at Orlando Pirates when I got the nickname. You get nickname when you are playing for big clubs. Pirates was not just a club, it's an institution. I grew to like the nickname though because it was more of me. The feared shot I used to pack when I kicked a ball...that's what gave me the confidence in kicking the ball because if you are given a nickname you wanna leave to that nickname. It's what made our football to be so special. Which is something we don't have of late."
The former Giant Blackpool and Witbank Aces striker says he is afraid of saying why the current players don't have nicknames as he will be accused of criticising.
"Well, I don't know, I wanna put it back to you people, the media. You are the people that gave us nicknames, what is happening now? Me I don't know because they will say I'm criticising."
