Sergio Ramos wants to stay at Real Madrid - mother

The 29-year-old was reportedly unhappy with how the club has been treating him regarding contractual negotiations, with widespread rumours linking him to Premier League giants Manchester United.

Sky News report that United have made a £28.6m for the player, yet the Spaniard’s mother Paqui Garcia insists her son is not thinking about a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

"Of course, Real Madrid before all else," she told Antena 3 when asked about her son’s future.

When asked about a possible move to Manchester United, she said: "No, I don't think so. Let's go. He wants Spain."

Ramos currently has two years left on his contract in Spain, having come through the club’s youth system before making his first team debut in 2005.
