AmaTuks succumbed to Mxolisi Gumede's 41st minute goal at Tuks Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Absa Premiership side will play their second game of the Promotion/Relegation Play-Offs on June 11 against Highlands Park, who humiliated Mbombela 3-0 on Wednesday.
Ketjijere said: "It was a tough day. It was our home game and we were meant to collect maximum points.
"We missed a lot of chances, a lot of free headers which we didn't capitalise on.
"We still have three games to go, we have to keep our heads up."
The midfielder added: "We didn't play well. With the chances we created we should have got a point or something."
