Mamelodi Sundowns loan players into double figures

Mamelodi Sundowns' count of players that have already been loaned out for the new season has shot into double figures as the club continues reshuffling their squad.

With their financial muscle, Sundowns have been able to beef up their squad through every transfer market.

In the latest window they have already brought in Ronwen Williams, Sipho Mbule, Bongani Zungu, Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil, Abubeker Nasir Ahmed (Ethiopia) and Chilean midfielder Marcelo Allende.

From the previous transfer window, The Brazilians brought in Teboho Mokoena, Erwin Saavedra and Bradley Ralani.

This kind of transfer business has obviously affected several players on the club's books.

The solution has been that several players – including some who are yet to make appearances for the club – have been forced out on loan.

As it stands at least eleven players - the equivalent of a team - are already on loan at several clubs while some remain hanging.

It is unclear what will happen with Jody February, Luvuyo Phewa, Siphesihle Mkhize, Malebogo Modise and Musawenkosi Mdluli who were all on loan at different clubs last season.
