The football analyst says supporters of both these clubs should brace themselves for a difficult season.
"As usual, Mamelodi Sundowns will finish the season as champions," Khanye tells KickOff.
"Royal AM will finish as runners-up, as their technical team of Dan Malesela, Khabo Zondo, and Abram Nteo signed players according to their philosophy.
"They have top-class players, and pound-for-pound can match anyone. They've got Nascimento, Thabo Matlaba, Potsane, and Phalane who are seasoned players.
"Third place will be Cape Town City. Their coach Eric Tinkler coaches exactly the way he used to play.
"AmaZulu will finish in fourth with quality players they've brought in, it's not going to be easy to beat these guys.
"Both Chiefs and Pirates will fail to make the top four this season, they will be fighting for the fifth position. You can print this.
"Both clubs are doing the same thing. With Pirates, how do you release players when you don't even have a coach?
"How can you sign players when you are yet to appoint a coach?
"How do you release somebody like Linda Mntambo and Gabadinho Mhango and Abel Mabaso? Then you sign Evidence Makgopa somebody who fought relegation the whole season, and you make him your target man.
"You release an international like Mhango then you bring in this young man Radiopane.
"Even if the Pirates coach is good at his job, their lack of quality will not see them compete.
"Chiefs need Itumeleng Khune in goals as soon as possible, you need a leader at the back with experience.
"You need somebody who will guide your defence and make them aware of any danger.
"Phatusedzo Nange is similar to Sithebe, Mahlatse is similar to Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
"And George Matlou how do you sign him when he struggled to make the squad at Swallows?
"He never played at Swallows and was always on the bench. We don't even know his strength."
