The Amakhosi claimed the win courtesy of goals from 16-year-old starlet Mfundo Vilakazi and burgeoning star Mduduzi Shabalala who both found the net in the second half of the encounter.
Following their triumph, which followed the club's success in the 2018 and inaugural edition of the competition, Chiefs walked away with R200 000 in prize money, which is set to be donated to Naturena Primary School.
"Naturena Primary School will receive the R200 000 winners' cheque after being nominated as Amakhosi's beneficiary, in accordance with the competition rule that requires the winnings to be donated to charity," the club said.
Meanwhile, Chiefs striker Wandile Duba was named Man of the Match in the final and claimed an R2000 boot voucher for his efforts.
Duba, who scored in Chiefs semi-final win over Mamelodi Sundowns and the quarter-final victory over SuperSport United, was one of the standout performers at the tournament, alongside Shabalala, who in turn has already been promoted to the first team.
