Mahlangu went on a rant at Khumalo after he was left out of the Kaizer Chiefs Legends team to play against a Liverpool equivalent at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday. 
Mahlangu wrote on the micro-blogging site: "Doctor Khumalo ur so selfish cause I was suppose to be part of the Kaizer Chiefs legend.
"I'm so disappointed @Doctor Khumalo cause I was suppose to be part of the Kaizer Chiefs legend that will play Liverpool legend next week.
"Doctor Khumalo unenhliziyo embhi (you have bad heart), let me tell u Ace Ntsoeleng, Jomo Sono nd Tenage Dladla are best players ever in RSA ... Not u.
"Doctor Khumalo does not like to play with other stars. U can ask any player who knows Doc will tell u. He tried to discourage me at chiefs.
"Doctor Khumalo Kaizer Chiefs is not ur club nd there's so many great players that played for Chiefs be for u. U must respect.
"If people don't believe what I'm saying. Plz ask Shakes Kungwane nd Pollen Ndlanya about selfish Doc Khumalo."
snl24.com/kickoff contacted Khumalo but the former midfield maestro declined to respond to Mahlangu's outburst, saying: "Anything to do with Kaizer Chiefs or legends people must contact the club offices, not me."
