Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of another player ahead of the 2019/20 season after a mutual termination of his contract.
Chiefs have parted ways with defender Mario Booysen just hours before the start of the new season, as they continue trimming their squad.

Booysen has opted to walk out of the club after he was deemed surplus to requirements, less than a year since his was signed from Ajax Cape Town.
The club confirmed the news on Friday evening, less than 48 hours before their opening clash against Highlands Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 30-year-old centre-back, who turns a year older in two weeks' time, had a year left on his contract with the club but has decided to take a settlement and find greener pastures.

Booysen previously represented SuperSport United, Maritzbburg United and Mamelodi Sundowns prior to ending up back home in The Mother City in 2017.
