Amakhosi have always made a big fuss about their jersey launches ahead of each new season, and this year it promises to be even more special with the club set to turn 50 in January 2020.

On big anniversaries, clubs often try to role back the years with a commemorative shirt and it would seem The Glamour Boys are no different.
Reminiscent of their 2011/12 jersey, dubbed the 'Zebra jersey', the Soweto giants have infused their traditional black and gold into a spira-looking design.
Though no official confirmation has been issued by Nike or Chiefs, a recent picture showing Jessica Motaung presenting the jersey to American rapper and radio personality Sway Calloway all but ratifies the speculation.
The shirt was in fact initially leaked back in March, but has since gained widespread attention with the surfacing of Motaung and the 'Sway in the Morning' radio-show host.
