"Highlands Park confirms the amicable parting of ways with Tendai Ndoro following a meeting between both parties late on Tuesday," read a statement from the club on Wednesday.

"The club wishes him well and is thankful for his contribution in the team as well as the professionalism displayed during his time with us."

This comes just a month after the Zimbabwean international took a 20 percent pay cut amid the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and his struggles to get game-time since joining the club in September 2018.

Ndoro made 28 appearances and scored just five goals during his 20-month spell at the Balfour Park-based outfit.

The 35-year-old former Buccaneer will now be free to join the club of his choice once obtaining his clearance from the Lions of the North.
