New strikers Lazarous Kambole and Samir Nurkovic have both been handed numbers seven and nine respectively, which previously belonged to Ryan Moon and Gustavo Paez - both of whom have since left the club.
However, new midfield duo James Kotei and Kearyn Baccus will be sporting the numbers five and six, which were previously donned by Mario Booysen and Andriamirado Andrianarimanana, otherwise known as 'Dax'.
Chiefs' football manager Bobby Motaung was not present at the event on Tuesday evening and therefore pertinent questions were unable to be answered regarding the future of players.
Though, coach Ernst Middendorp stressed during a Carling Black Label Cup media day on Wednesday that no players would be leaving at this late stage before the start of the 2019/20 season.

Whether Booysen forfeiting his jersey number could mean more than just that remains to be seen, after the towering defender was absent from Wednesday's training session and also missed their friendly defeat to Township Rollers over the weekend.
