In August the defender told snl24.com/kickoff that he was battling to sleep after his challenge in a MTN8 clash left Molangoane with a broken leg.
Makhaula said at the time it was difficult to get hold of Molangoane as he was struggling to get his cellphone numbers, but he now reveals that the Amakhosi star has since reached out to him.
"I finally spoke to him," Makhaula tells this website.
"Sazwana kahle (We understood each other), he was the one who took the initiative to call me you know. I learnt that he's been trying to get hold of me all along. But he finally reached me and he told me that he's been looking for my numbers you see.
"He told me that he saw that I wasn't doing it on purpose, he told me not to stress because such things happen in football.
"Ja, we ended up forgiving each other. We even agreed that the day we are going to play in Jozi, or me when I go home we will meet maybe somewhere so we can talk face to face. That's something that makes me happy because it was not my purpose."
