The Team of Choice are yet to record a victory after three games since the resumption of Absa Premiership matches, losing to Black Leopards and playing to a hard-fought draw against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Speaking after another draw against his former team Bidvest Wits on Monday, Tinkler admitted nothing is easy at this stage of the season.
"They are all though, every single game right now is tough. I said this to the press the other day, every point right now is gold," Tinkler said.
"Because there are teams that are obviously fighting for relegation, there are teams that are looking to fight for survival and others to finish in the top eight.
"Certain teams that you thought were dead prior to lockdown, all of a sudden Cape Town City and Stellenbosch have climbed the table.
"These teams have come from nowhere in the bio-bubble, they are putting pressure on other teams that were there in seventh and eighth."
Tinkler was disappointed his side could not turn in a winning performance against Wits and felt they should have done better.
"I think it's disappointing, we had hope we could try to collect three points against Wits even though I know that's a big ask because they are a quality team," he added.
"I felt it was an opportunity to achieve that, because they had many games back to back. I thought we should've been slightly fresher."
Tinkler will be expecting no different in their next matches against Highlands Park and Orlando Pirates.
"We've got Highlands and obviously their ambition is also to finish in the top eight, so that's going to be a tough game," the coach added.
"And immediately after that we have Pirates. I know they want to finish third and try to get into CAF, so you know those two games are going to be extremely tough."
