Dylan Kerry says Black Leopards know the stakes against Kaizer Chiefs

Black Leopards head coach Dylan Kerr says his team understands very well what is at stake in Saturday's league game against Kaizer Chiefs.   READ: Moon wary of Leopards' strength   Lidoda Duvha and Amakhosi will lock horns at a sold-out affair Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday at 15h00.   Both teams are desperate for three points as they are fresh from defeats. Leopards lost their last league match 2-0 to Orlando Pirates, while Chiefs embarrassingly lost 1-0 to Baroka FC last week.   The Glamour Boys are seventh on Absa Premiership table and a win might see them move to position six, while 12th-placed Leopards could move up to 11th if they do the same.   "I said it before, it's how we dictate it. It's up to Black Leopards and Black Leopards only," Kerr tells snl24.com/kickoff.   "What we need to make sure is that we don't commit football suicide like we did against Pirates in the second half. So tomorrow's game is big for both teams and we've just gotta be bigger tomorrow. I want my players to look in the mirror and see what's at stake individually and for the team.   "It's not about form, we know what's at stake, Chiefs know what's at stake. We are at home, we are playing at Thohoyandou and it's already sold out. It's not about fancy football now, it's about passion, it's about energy, it's about wanting to win.   "With all respect to Ernst [Middendorp] and Kaizer Chiefs, you know I'm not concentrating on Kaizer Chiefs. I'm concentrating on Black Leopards, that's my focus, to make sure my players are ready for this.   "I have got a lot of respect for Kaizer Chiefs because I nearly signed for them in 1989. I met Ted Dumitru and Kaizer before I went to sign for Leeds United, so I've got huge respect for Kaizer Chiefs and Ernst Middendorp, but I've got to look at one club only and that is Black Leopards Football Club."
