Klate, who is currently attached to SuperSport United, has completed his Irish Football Association UEFA B Diploma.
The Port Elizabeth-born midfielder had a short stint with Chippa United as their reserve team coach before relocating to Gauteng to work on his coaching badges and gain experience.
Klate could not hide his excitement at one of his biggest achievements in his young coaching career after posted about it on his social media account.
"By learning you will teach and by teaching you wil learn... another feather in the cap!" he wrote.
Klate remains the most decorated soccer star in the PSL era with 14 trophies after winning the league six times with three different teams – SuperSport, Pirates and Bidvest Wits.
