snl24.com/kickoff would like to clarify an earlier story on a former PSL player who was arrested in Eswatini.
The former PSL player is Bongani Masangane, who previously played for Black Leopards, and he was arrested for the possession of dagga.
The image on the story unfortunately included ex-Bafana Bafana midfielder Stanton Fredericks playing against Masangane, which may have caused confusion as to who the perpetrator was.
While the content of the story was exclusively about Masangane and it was clearly explained that he was the player concerned, we would still like to put it on record that in no way was the picture intended to harm the image of 'Stiga', who has established himself as a respected football pundit on SuperSport TV.
The image has since been removed and replaced with a new one.
