Chippa United fired up for Ajax Cape Town battle

The Chilli Boys, who are without suspended defender Justice Chabalala and captain Thamsanqa Sangweni, are a point away from the relegation zone with only four games remaining.

Kick-off is at 15h00 at Buffalo City Stadium.

"The mood in the camp is very high," Zibeko tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"It's a focused mood in preparation for the game. We arrived in East London on Tuesday evening. We visited Ulwazi High School where the team spoke to the learners. The team at Mdantsane City was welcomed by the MEC of Sports and Recreation in the province Pemmy Majodina and MEC councillor Witbooi. All our players are here in Mdantsane with us, even the ones that are injured, I'm talking about the likes of Sangweni and Justice Chabalala who are on suspension, as well as Pentjie Zulu and Katlego Mashego who are both nursing injuries.

"No game is bigger than the Ajax one on Saturday. Remember we have not won a league game for a while now. Our intention is to turn things around against Ajax."

Zibeko says the Nedbank Cup semi-finalists are determined to put on a show for their fans in East London.

"This is going to be our last league game in East London this season. We want to use it to thank the people of East London in style, that's why it's very important to us to win this game. The stadium there is not big, so people must buy their tickets on time because they are selling very fast at the Ticket Pro outlets nationwide. Tickets are selling like Shamrock pies. Our chairman has invited WBO world champion Zolani Tete as a guest of honour, remember he was born in Mdantsane so he is an inspiration to youngsters over here."
