Zungu remained noncommital on the former Kaizer Chiefs defender's future a week before the 2022/2023 season gets underway.

"Regards to Mphahlele it's the coach who asked him to come and train with the team," Zungu tells KickOff.

"So he hasn't yet spoken to me on what was their assessment of the player.

"So I can't really say anything about his game, he used him yesterday, he is the one who is going to inform us.

"He will only give feedback on his assessment on Tuesday."

"Once I have spoken to Truter we will then reveal our plans in making any additions to the squad."
