Meanwhile, it has been a difficult campaign for Malawian international Mhango who has found himself out of favour at the Buccaneers after several reported disciplinary issues.

According to a source close to the deal, Pirates and Usuthu have finalised all details of the transfer that will see Mhango wear the green of AmaZulu next season.

The two clubs are expected to officially announce the transfer in due course.

"Yes I can confirm that Gabadinho Mhango is going to AmaZulu," a club insider reveals to KickOff.

"The club is also adding Ishmael Wadi from JDR Stars."

Contacted for a confirmation, AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu said it was still too early after the conclusion of the season to comment on any incomings or outgoings to the club.
