Nyundu, who netted 19 goals for Leopards on loan from Polokwane City last term, looked to be on his way to Bidvest Wits at the end of 2014/15.
However, a move failed to materialise as Lidoda Duvha secured his services on a three-year contract.
And while Nyundu is eager to progress in his career, Leopards chairman David Thidiela has reportedly valued the 28-year-old at a hefty R3 million, which may ward off potential suitors.
"I want to progress with life and age is no longer on my side," Nyundu tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"I have a family which I have to feed and they rely heavily on me. Nonetheless, I don't want to be in the situation I was in last season whereby I made some mistakes about my contract.
"But at the moment I'm still a Black Leopards player and if it happens (leaving) at the end of the season it happens. I signed a three-year deal with the club and this is my first year in that contract."
Meanwhile, Nyundu, who scored in a sweeping move in a 3-1 loss against Maritzburg United in the Nedbank Cup last night, has revealed Wits and Golden Arrows enquired about his availability in the January transfer window.
"It was Golden Arrows and Bidvest Wits," he says.
"It happened that I signed for Wits but I had some issues which is why I'm back at Black Leopards. I trust myself I can play anywhere but my biggest wish, I want to see myself playing in the PSL next season.
"I will be very happy to play there and I hope Mr Thidiela, although he has treated me well, he will understand because age is no longer on my side."
Nyundu has scored five goals in 17 games for his NFD employers this season.
