Kaizer Chiefs' reported target Oswin Appollis remains at Polokwane City despite efforts to move him to a Gauteng club.
Appollis had a fantastic run with Polokwane last season which earned him his breakthrough to the Bafana Bafana squad after having been with Pretoria Callies in the Motsepe Foundation Championship the previous season.

Six goals from 28 games playing for a team that was battling in the bottom half of the second-tier league already gave enough of indications about his potential.
However, with club boss Johnny Mogaladi an astute businessman taking Appollis away from Polokwane will come at a cost far much more than the R2 million price tag that was on the 22-year-old's head this time last year.
Appollis got minutes at the AFCON finals and has also played in four of the last five Bafana matches.
On Thursday, Appollis took to the field for the last 10 minutes in a pre-season friendly match against SuperSport United.
Meanwhile, Polokwane will go into the new season minus three of their most experienced players following their release.
The club has cut ties with Ndumiso Mabena, Given Mashikinya, Amos Mokwena, Obed Thuto, and Lucky Baloyi.
Mabena (37) featured in 16 games and scored twice, Mashikinya (33) played 29 matches, and Baloyi (33) went onto the pitch on matchday in five games.
