After reaching five consecutive cup finals, with four already converted into trophies, it points to Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro doing something right at the club, for which he hardly gets credit.
One of the biggest challenges at a big side is managing the dressing room and egos of players, and from the outside looking in, it appears Pirates do not have personality clashes and friction within the squad.

However, the club's documentary series, which was aired on TV, lifted the lid on the fights, egos, disagreements, grudges, accusations, divisions and cliques that were prevalent in the dressing room.
One that drew the most attention was a bitter fight between Deon Hotto and Thembinkosi Lorch, which seemingly led to the latter being sold to Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, the Soweto giants' team spirit was not affected, judging by how they kept on winning trophies under Riveiro.
Now, the Spaniard has explained how he manages his dressing room so effectively.
"We're in a high performance environment, we're in competition and what you're mentioning [revelations from documentary] is a problem without a solution in my opinion. If I tell you there's a way to manage those [individuals], there's no way," Riveiro said on BBK Unplugged Podcast.
"It's about everybody understanding their role, in each and every moment of the season, understanding why we're here, why we were recruited by the club in the opportunities that we have to try to help the club to get trophies, play good football, be patient.
"Personally, as a coach, I have to try to be as fair as possible, understanding that to be 100 percent fair in this business is just impossible.
"The first thing from their side as well is to accept that I cannot be 100 percent fair, accept that we're going to make mistakes, me as [the one who is] responsible. But everything we do, it's for the team, the club. It's not thinking about any individual, not thinking about myself as a coach even. It's just to protect the team," he added.

Riveiro's effective management has been evident in how players such as Zakhele Lepasa, Lesedi Kapinga (who has been released), Innocent Maela, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, Evidence Makgopa and Bandile Shandu, among others, have not been sulking, at least publicly, for not playing regularly, which has ensured that team spirit is not affected.
