Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Katlego Mashego has weighed in on the heated clash of words between Kermit Erasmus and former coach Rulani Mokwena in the Carling Black Label Cup final.
During a one-sided final the pair were seen in a heated debate following defender Tapelo Xoki's red card for an ugly challenge on Sundowns midfielder Haashim Domingo.

Mokwena speaking after the match, shared his disappointment at the exchange that he said to have left a "bittersweet" taste after his side's dominant victory.
"I don't know what happened, I don't know what was said and triggered that, but we can all hide behind emotions, but the respect between a player and a coach should always be there," Mashego tells KickOff.
"Regardless of whether it's your coach because in most cases coaches are people that are older than us.
"I mean that was a straight red card [Xoki's tackle], So obviously Rulani was trying to get the match officials' attention to say, this is a bad challenge you know.
"Because in slow motion it looks really bad, those are career-ending tackles.
"Now the boy is injured, and he will probably be out for four to six weeks you know.
"But whatever came after it was a bit unnecessary, I mean the referee is there for those kinds of situations.
"I mean we will condemn the tackle after, but I think the referee dealt with the situation the correct way."
