'If Pitso is willing to coach Pirates...'

After Orlando Pirates announced that coach Jose Riveiro will be leaving the club at the end of the season, Pitso Mosimane's name has been mentioned among possible replacements.

Dennis Masina, who played for Pirates during his career, believes going for Mosimane would be the correct move for the Buccaneers.
'Yuki', as the former midfielder is affectionately known, featured under the erstwhile Bafana Bafana mentor at SuperSport United and has praised his management style.
"If coach Pitso is willing to coach Pirates, then I would say he is the right one for the job. He has been there and done that. For me, I know coach Pitso can coach Pirates and can do a great job. I know him very well and I know what he is capable of doing with a team and his players," Masina told KickOff.com.
The former Eswatini international added that in the Kagiso-born coach, the Soweto giants' management will find a good fit for the team.
"As I have said, coach Pitso would do a great job at Pirates, but the team management knows much better, and what is good for the team.
"Whichever coach they hire will be the one that is good for the team. They know how to look for a good coach and they will do the same this time."
Mosimane is currently without a club after leaving Iranian side Esteghlal.
