Tim Sukazi predicts TS Galaxy will play Kaizer Chiefs again in 2020 Nedbank Cup final

Galaxy caused one of the major upsets in the history of any competition in the country when they beat the Phefeni Glamour Boys 1-0 in the Nedbank Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium last year.

The Mpumalanga side have been pitted against Chippa United in the last 32 while Amakhosi have been drawn against Royal Eagles.

Sukazi this time again believes their fixture against Chiefs is reserved for the final in May this year.

"You can quote me on that one, write it down and record it as it is now," he said at the Nedbank Cup draw.

"Any match between Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy is a rivalry of its own kind. Chiefs and Galaxy whenever we get the next opportunity, more especially here in Johannesburg, we shall fill even Soccer City, the same way we did at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

"A new rival has arrived in the form of Galaxy, a rival with Chiefs. This is the fixture reserved for the last moment. It's not going to come anytime soon, it will come at the right time and that time will be the cup final."

Galaxy won the tournament last season without playing any homes games and are set to open their cup campaign this time with an away fixture against the Chilli Boys.

"Mind you, we are the only club in the history of any football competition in the country to win a tournament or a cup having played all our matches away," Sukazi added.

"It never happened [before us]."
