According to the League's prosecutor Nande Becker, it is Madlala who will decide if they move the matter directly to SAFA arbitration or follow the normal route.
Bloemfontein Celtic have lodged a complaint against Mamelodi Sundowns for including defender Langerman in their team sheet for last Saturday's Nedbank Cup final despite the player being suspended.
Siwelele lost the match 1-0 and Sundowns were crowned champions.
snl24.com/kickoff asked Becker if the PSL will be taking the matter forward and if there will be sanctions against Sundowns.
"Waiting for the CEO, but probably yes," Becker says. "It's up to the arbitrator and DC [Disciplinary Committee]."
Asked if at this stage the League regards Sundowns as 2020 Nedbank Cup champions, Becker gave no definitive answers.
"We have to wait for the outcome of the DC/arbitration to confirm. Even an arbitration following misconduct is a disciplinary hearing," he explains.
"Misconduct results in charges and whoever decides if misconduct has been committed has discretion in regards of sanction.
"The League certainly does not want anything [specific in terms of punishment]. We only want clubs to abide by the rules."
It remains to be seen if there are grounds to strip Sundowns of their Nedbank Cup title or if the club will simply escape with a fine.
