Pitso Mosimane wants Amavarara in Nedbank Cup last 16 draw

Sundowns are through to the next round of the cup competition after beating Tshwana rivals SuperSport United 1-0 at Loftus Stadium on Saturday.

Komani-based ABC Motsepe League side Amavarara have also booked themselves a place in the draw in Randburg tonight after beating Super Eagles 2-1 at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London.

Mosimane complained last week that Sundowns always seems to get much more difficult draws than the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, and after getting past Matsatsantsa on Saturday, is now hoping to get a so-called small team in the next round.

"In the next round can I have also like the other people, have a nice one?" he asked.

"We are not that fortunate. Can I also get a nice one, guys? Can I have breather? I have the Champions League and the [domestic] league.

"I need Amavarara. Are they through? Can I have them? Can you please give me Amavarara?"

Hungry Lions and VUT are some other teams from the lower divisions that will join Amavarara in the last 16 hat in Randburg tonight.
