Phathutshedzo Nange: Stellenbosch FC aiming for Mamelodi Sundowns knockout in Nedbank Cup

Stellies are visiting PSL kings Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Stadium at 17h00.

Nange says they will put up a fight against the defending champions.

"We want to go there, express ourselves and go all out to try to win the game, and make sure the club goes to the next stage. We will try our best," Nange tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"We know currently they are the best team in the country. I think I won't say it's a bad thing to meet Sundowns so early in a cup. Surely if you want to challenge for the cup you're going to meet them somewhere, somehow.

"We can surprise them, and knocking them out is also going to be positive for us so I won't say it's a bad thing."

Stellenbosch played an impressive game in the league against Kaizer Chiefs and will be looking to produce something similar against Sundowns.

"I can't say we will give the same performance, but we will go there to win the game," Nange adds. "We might even do better than we did against Chiefs."
