Nkosinathi Sibisi hails Orlando Pirates' fight after MTN8 win

Vincent Pule and Thabiso Monyane got the goals for Pirates in either half while Mokete Mogaila scored what proved to be a consolation goal for AM.

Sibisi was part of the Buccaneers defence that did not give much away, especially holding on towards the end and was named Man of the Match.

"It wasn't easy, Royal AM are a good team you know, especially playing at home. We knew it wasn't going to be easy coming back within the space of two weeks," Sibisi told SuperSport TV.

"But we fought you know because we have not been getting a break. We play every two, three days without rest.

"I think it showed towards the end of the game but I'm glad that we fought and onto the next one."

Sibisi responded to his particular fine performance where he made a goal-saving clearance against Motebang Sera and made another one towards the end of the game.

"For me it's just helping the team as best as I can. You can see our strikers are fighting, hopefully for them it will come, for us to keep it clean at the back we have a better chance of winning the game," he responded.

The former Golden Arrows defender also elaborated on their good defensive structure and unity at the back.

"We have a good relationship with the guys, when I came in it just felt like home, so this one is not for me it's for all the guys," he added.
