Mbulelo Wambi expresses Chippa Utd's ambitions following MTN8 semi-final with Mamelodi Sundowns

Chippa, who recorded their best Absa Premiership finish in sixth spot last term, opened their 2016/17 campaign with a 2-1 victory over Free State Stars.

Dan Malesela's charges then knocked Platinum Stars out of the MTN8 with a 2-0 scoreline before drawing 0-0 with Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of their semi-final in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.

"We are gunning for everything now. If possible we can go for everything," Wambi - a June signing from Vasco da Gama - said after being named Man of the Match against the Brazilians.

"I think we have assembled a very good squad. We know each other now, that's why we are performing now."

He added of working under Malesela: "I worked with him before, we play football."

The Chilli Boys will revive hostilities with Sundowns at Loftus Versveld Stadium on September 21.
