Pirates recently completed the signing of Ofori from Maritzburg United and quickly drafted him into the line-up for their recent 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch FC in midweek.
Though the Ghanaian shotstopper had little to do on the night, he seemed to fit in quickly in the way he marshalled his territory, unlike the now-departed Joris Delle.
Whether Sandilands' number-one jersey is now under threat remains to be seen, however, with Zinnbauer refusing to confirm whether he will be adopting a league-cup rotation policy.
"After the game [on Wednesday], now we go and watch the footage again and then we we will be analysing the game as the technical staff," Zinnbauer told the media.
"We will then make a decision for the next opponent, and see what solutions we find for which player can help us to win the game."
The Buccaneers will next face arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 semi-final first leg at Orlando Stadium on Saturday (15h00), with Ofori in line to make his Soweto Derby debut.
