Co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi insisted it was very rare for his Mamelodi Sundowns side to record zero shots on target in a tense MTN8 first-leg semi-final encounter against Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The two sides couldn't be separated in a highly-anticipated clash between the two teams tipped by many as favourites to challenge for domestic honours this season.

Although the Brazilians dominated the possession statistics with a huge 58% of the ball, the defending champions failed to hit the target in any of their nine attempts at goal.
"I would say it's very rare, I don't want to lie," Mngqithi said post-match.
"This was a game of small margins and when you look at the first chance by Ronwen [Williams] to Peter [Shalulile] he should go straight and face the goalkeeper.
"It was a clear chance to take a shot at goal. The same thing happens with [Khuliso] Mudau, two moments on the opposite side with no one next to him [in the box] but both crosses went over the bar.
"It's a very rare scenario for us to have no shots on target when we have created so many moments actually.
"Peer having two moments and we had another good chance on the edge of the area which I think were moments where we needed a little bit of composure.
"But very, very unfortunate for us not to have created those moments.
The two teams will resume league action before contesting the MTN8 second leg on October 22 at Lofus Versfeld Stadium.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
