The Clever Boys now have one foot in the MTN8 final as they carry a healthy lead into the second leg away. But Hunt wanted more from his team.
“Disappointed, really, I mean we were poor, it wasn’t good. We can see that two weeks certainly affected us, a lot of players were away and came back a little bit sluggish,” Hunt said on SuperSport.
“We were a yard off the pace, we looked like we needed a gallop so we got one tonight and hopefully we’ll be better on Tuesday [at Polokwane City].
“Yeah, we got three [goals] but we really dropped out [of the game in the second half] and it wasn’t good but we move on, go to the next game.”
Hunt said he was expecting a drop in performance after the FIFA-forced international break.
“You look all around the world and it’s the same story after the international break, and I was worried about the game tonight in terms of the performance and we never got it,” he added.
“But we got the result, and as I said we’ll move on.”
