Orlando Pirates have directly benefited from Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt's work in recent years, with no less than seven of their stars having come through his hands.
This weekend's MTN8 semi-final first leg presents an interesting battle as Hunt faces his first ever Soweto Derby, having joined Chiefs as Ernst Middendorp's successor at the start of the season.

While Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer may have an edge in having experienced the mammoth fixture before, he may have to guard against playing into his counterpart's hands with his team selection.
In their midweek DStv Premiership draw with Stellenbosch, the Buccaneers used a total of six players – Thulani Hlatshwayo, Ben Motshwari, Vincent Pule, Deon Hotto, Gabadinho Mhango and Terrence Dzvukamanja – who rose to prominence under Hunt at Bidvest Wits, while Thabang Monare was also on the bench.

However, ahead of Saturday afternoon's clash, the four-time league-winning tactician refuses to count solely on his knowledge of their capabilities.

"I don't think it makes any difference. Yes, sure, I know all of them – I signed all of them, so I know them very, very well, but I don't think it makes any difference," Hunt responded when asked whether it will be an advantage.
"It's like doing video analysis of the opposition, I think it's the most overrated thing in the world, because you can talk all day, and talk all day, but the players have got to do it on the day.
"There's one or two things here or there that you can show, but less sometimes is more and players have got to take the responsibility, so ja.
"But sure, I think six or seven of them are playing and I know their ins and outs, where they live, I know everything."
