Venda Football Academy are being accused of mistreating two of their players in the December holidays.
According to the president of the Football Union of South Africa Taelo Motloung, the Motsepe Foundation Championship club has left some of their players in a Venda-based clubhouse without water and food.
The three players are Vuyile Gama, Lutendo Mavhona and Nthathini.

"There are players that we are representing at Venda Football Club, so when the club closed for Christmas they told these three boys not to go home but to continue training until the 22nd of December, and then from there they can go home, and enjoy Christmas until the 26 of December, then train until the 30th of December, then go home again for holidays until the 2nd of January," Motloung tells KickOff.
"Right now they are sitting there at the clubhouse doing nothing and the situation is not good for them.
"Because they are contracted to the club they have no choice but to listen to instructions.
"But where they are they don't have food, one of them is from Durban and he has since left, and the other one is from Gauteng and he is still there at the clubhouse sitting alone as if he is in a cage.
"He is still sitting there waiting to get his month-end salary, while the rest of his teammates have already been paid their salaries.
"It's only the three boys that have not received their salaries, rest of their teammates have already received theirs, and the club says according to their contracts they will only be paid at the end of the month.
"The thing is the club attempted to terminate the boy's contract and offered him a two-month settlement, while the boy's contract ends in June 2025.
"That's what led to the club's decision to keep the boys in the clubhouse while the rest of their teammates went home.
"It's like they are punishing these boys for not accepting the proposed settlements.
"So yesterday I spoke to the club's manager about the issue, and the boy countered their offer, so we still waiting for the club to respond."
