Bakgaga Ba Ga Mphahlele didn't lose focus but managed to claw their way back through Khomotso Marebane and bagged a crucial point to regain second spot.
Casric Stars 3-1 Venda Football Academy
Casric Stars edged Venda Football Academy 3-1 to record a second straight win and make further in-roads to the top-three.

Casric remained energised in the second half and put the clash to bed when Ngoanamello Rammala put the final nail in the coffin of Venda right at the death.
Black Leopards 2-1 Hungry Lions
Black Leopards bounced back from their Nedbank Cup exit in midweek to record a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Hungry Lions.
Di Tau made a buoyant start and took the lead in the opening ten minutes, but Lidoda Duvha even it up to go into the interval on level terms.

NB La Masia 3-0 Milford Stallions
NB La Masia got their campaign back on track after three goals in the second half secured a 3-0 win over the bottom-placed Milford Stallions.

Pretoria Callies 0-1 Platinum City Rovers
Pretoria Callies' upward momentum came crashing down after coming unstuck 1-0 against Platinum City Rovers in the bottom-half tussle in the Motsepe Foundation Championship on Friday.
With Tlou Segolela taking the reins, Rovers ended a three-match winless run that puts them level on points with the Romans on the table.
Callies, who managed to revive their campaign after occupying the basement for much of the time, have now dropped back into the quagmire in the wake of this defeat.
Former Moroka Swallows winger Khethukuthula Zwane got the winner late in the second period to separate the two sides in the bottom-half.
Orbit College 1-1 Magesi FC
Orbit College's strange run of results continued to keep them at the top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table following a 1-1 draw with Magesi FC on Saturday.
It was a blistering start by Orbit, who had the lead after two minutes and looked well on course to end a six-match winless streak.
The Limpopo outfit denied them all the points though as Tshepo Mashigo rose up at the death to bundle in and ensured that the points are shared.
Upington City 3-1 JDR Stars
The revival of Upington City in the Championship continued as they moved up to third spot with a 3-1 victory over JDR Stars.
The host were quick out of the starting blocks through Keletso Makgalwa, but a penalty by Banele Hlophe draw the Hammerboys level before Bonginkosi Makume got a penalty of their own to send them in front.
JDR got a chance to level matters into the break with another spot-kick but Hlophe missed to see ahead at the interval, and Makgalwa made the win safe with his brace minutes after the break.
Marumo Gallants FC 3-3 Maritzburg United
Marumo Gallants FC's winless run stretched to four matches in all competitions following an entertaining 3-3 draw with Maritzburg United.
As for the visitors, the draw comes on the back of their Nedbank Cup progression in midweek against Black Leopards and a two-match losing run in the league that saw the back of coach Zipho Dlangalala.
Maritzburg were ahead early on courtesy of Bongumusa Nkosi, though Itumeleng Shopane equalised before halftime whilst efforts in succession after halftime followed from Monde Mphambaniso and Mamour Niang respectively.
The goal-feast didn't stop as the Team of Choice regained the lead only for Cyrille Nguessan to draw level and leave the contest to a draw.
