United had their league game against Cape Town Spurs cancelled on Sunday after a few players from the former reportedly tested positive for coronavirus before the end of last year.
Head coach Roger de Sa has confirmed that his team had gone into quarantine after being affected by a few positive cases, which forced their league match against Spurs in Cape Town to be postponed.
"We had to go for quarantine. We have been together for a week, travelling to Polokwane and Pretoria. It doesn't matter [even if only one tested positive], everybody had to go for quarantine," De Sa tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We were in the same bus, same hotel, same changeroom, same everything every day. We had some positives, so we had to quarantine irrespective of how many, thats the rule."
De Sa confirmed his team finished their period of quarantine on Sunday and had to go for more Covid-19 testing on Monday before they can return to training.
