Baroka FC chairman Khurishi Mphahlele has rubbished reports that his club is struggling to pay player salaries.
Mphahlele says people will always try to destabilise an on-form team by saying all sorts of negative stuff.

The Limpopo-based club is in position three in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 27 points in 17 matches, three points shy of log leaders Orbit College who are on 30 points.
"My players are at training and there is nothing wrong," Mphahlele tells KickOff.
"The stories of players not getting salaries are just gossip and going on strike, there is no such, and everybody is here. You know when a car is moving there will be a lot of dogs barking. We have no such issues at Baroka, we are planning on making some changes in our current squad but we will make an announcement. We've got new players coming in and we've got players going out. We need to beef up because the second round is going to be even tougher."

According to sources, players could not report back to training due to non-payment of December salaries, with some only receiving half of their payment.
"Players were stuck at home due to non-payment of salaries, no one could report back to training on time," a source informed KickOff.
"Everybody was supposed to report back to training on Monday, but they couldn't do so as players only received salaries on Tuesday."
Last month, DStv Premiership club Moroka Swallows failed to honour the fixtures against Mamelodi Sundowns and Lamontville Golden Arrows after the players embarked on strike action due to allegations of non-payment of salaries.
