Struggling DStv Premiership side Maritzburg United are set to become the sixth DStv Premiership side to make a coaching change with John Maduka to depart the club following an underwhelming start to the season.
Maduka joined Maritzburg in June after departing Royal AM, despite leading the club to an impressive third-place finish last season.

In joining Maritzburg, Maduka replaced Ernst Middendorp after the German tactician's fourth stint with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.
With all the expectation that accompanied Maduka's arrival at Maritzburg, results have not lived up to expectations alongside assistant Ditheko Mototo.
So much has been simmering from the Maritzburg camp about Maduka's management style but what hasn't helped his situation is the fact that results have not been forthcoming.
From the 13 matches that he has overseen Maduka has a record of just two wins – against Orlando Pirates and Chippa United – with five draws and six defeats.
The former Malawi international is without a win in the last six matches which has left Maduka facing a bleak future at the club.
According to various well-placed sources, Maritzburg have already engaged discussions to part company with Maduka and have initiated contract termination talks.
The 52-year-old's fate was sealed after the club's latest defeat to Golden Arrows on Friday which came just days after a heavy 5-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Both games were played at home with United conceding seven goals without scoring.
The Team of Choice has now conceded the least (six) and conceded the most (19) in the league.
KickOff has additionally been reliably informed that Maduka is set to be replaced by Fadlu Davids.
Davids has previously been with the club and will enjoy the benefit of only playing his first match in charge on the last Friday of the year in December.
Maritzburg players will only report back to training after a fortnight with the players given an extended break.
AmaZulu (Brandon Truter out and Romain Folz in), Marumo Gallants (Folz out and Dan Malesela in), Chippa United (Daine Klate out and Morgan Mammila in), Royal AM (Malesela out of the co-coaching set-up), and Swallows FC (Dylan Kerr out and Musa Nyatama in) make up the other clubs that have had coaching changes this season.
