In this edition of Supporters Forum, KickOff speaks to Pretoria-based Mamelodi Sundowns supporter Josi Kokoana about his long-standing affair with the Premier Soccer League champions.
"Jozi14" is based in Pretoria, where he owns a business. Fourteen it's his date of birth, having been born on the 14th of September.
"I'm based in Soshanguve. I'm an auto electrician, we specialize in Mercedes Benz only, and my business partner is a mechanic," he tells KickOff.
Club supported?
"I never supported any team besides Sundowns, I spent most of my time playing amateur football.
"I always change my attire, immediately I notice that someone has copied my style I change it. I'm the first person to wear a wig in stadiums, I would dye one side yellow, and the other blue. I used to wear my wig with an apron."
How long supported?
"I started supporting Sundowns in the late '80s, and the style of play is what attracted me to Sundowns. They used to remind me of the Brazil national team."
Are you happy with the bosses?
"Oh yes, I am. They take care of the supporters, and they listen to the supporters. Team management needs to have such a relationship with its supporters and players."
Are you happy with the coach?
"Yes, he learned from the best. He worked with Pitso Mosimane for a long time."
Are you happy with the players?
"They are so humble to the extent that I'm even close to them. Most of them were captains at their former clubs."
Who do you want them to sign?
"At the moment, we don't need to sign anyone. Signing for the sake of it is not the right thing. If we do that, we will be forced to release some of our good players."
Your message to the team?
"They must just keep the standard as it is, they must keep us happy."
