Downs star: It's not easy...

Onyango has lamented Mamelodi Sundowns' congested fixture schedule that sees the Tshwane giants play three matches in eight days, including an away CAF Champions League semi-final.

Sundowns progressed to the final of the Champions League by beating defending champions Al Ahly via the away goal rule after a 1-1 draw on Friday evening at the Cairo International Stadium.

Celebrations, however, will have to be cut short as they have to immediately turn their attention back to league action, where they take on relegation-threatened Richards Bay FC at Loftus tonight.

Just three days after that, The Brazilians take on Cape Town City, a match initially scheduled for Sunday but has been brought forward, much to the frustration of head coach Miguel Cardoso.

Speaking to the club's media, Onyango admitted that the short turnaround time was proving to be a tough ask.

"Of course, it's not easy for the boys, but we take every game the way it comes. Right now, we are focusing on the Betway Premiership because we must lift the trophy.

"When it is time for the Champions League, we will focus on the Champions League, but every game is a final for us, and we hope we win all our remaining games.
