REVEALED | Mamelodi Sundowns offer midfielder Andile Jali blockbuster contract extension

Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly made an official offer to renew the services of influential midfielder Andile Jali with a lucrative three-year contract.

Jali's current deal is set to expire at the end of the current season in June 2023.

However, the Brazilians have now made their intentions clear by submitting a three-year deal to extend the Bafana Bafana midfielder's stay at Chloorkop.

According to sources close to the deal, Jali is expected to meet with his representatives imminently to discuss the offer.

"Sundowns have made an offer to Jali," the source tells KickOff.

"I am not sure about the salary package, but it's a three-year deal."

KickOff understands that both Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are closely monitoring Jali's contract negotiations.

"He is looking for a lucrative offer as this might be his last big deal in his playing career," the source added.

"There is interest from other keen parties, but his first option remains Sundowns."

The 32-year-old has found his playing time limited at Chloorkop so far this season with a healthy competition for places.

The former Orland Pirates midfielder though, remains a fan favourite after being voted as club captain during the fan driven Carling Black Label Cup.
