Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of Bafana Bafana striker Iqraam Rayners from Stellenbosch FC, after triggering the player's release clause.
The Brazilians confirmed on Wednesday, via the club's social media platforms, that Rayners had put pen to paper on a long-term deal.

It's a move that comes on the back of a sensational season for the player, during which he scored an impressive 17 goals and provided eight assists in his 39 appearances across all competitions - the highest direct goal contribution of any player in the division.
Head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has said the club had signed Rayners with the view of aiding their CAF Champions League ambitions, a trophy that has eluded the Tshwane giants since winning it in 2016, only going as far as the semi-finals in the last two editions.
"We are happy to have him, because he will add something to the club," Mngqithi said when asked about the new signing during the club's MTN8 post-match press conference against Polokwane City.
"I'm looking at him more for the Champions League but even in the PSL. In as much as he will help us in the PSL, I think in the Champions League he will really give us something."

Rayners will, however, take no part in the MTN8 semi-final against his former side Stellies on Wednesday as he is cup-tied, as he feature in the Winelands-based outfit's 3-1 quarterfinal win over TS Galaxy.
The match will be played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, kicking off at 19:00.
