Football analyst Junior Khanye believes that Jayden Adams last showcased his best football while playing for Stellenbosch FC.
Adams made the switch to Mamelodi Sundowns from Stellenbosch during the January transfer window.

The Bafana Bafana midfielder has scored three times in 17 matches across all competitions for Sundowns, but the former Kaizer Chiefs winger feels Adams has been inconsistent.
"To be honest, we haven't seen the best of Jayden Adams at Mamelodi Sundowns," Khanye tells KickOff.
"In my opinion, his best performances were at Stellenbosch FC. Currently, he experiences ups and downs; sometimes he starts the game, and other times he doesn't.
"I don't think the environment at Sundowns suits him. The players he is competing with are not just any ordinary players. Adams lacks the character needed to succeed at big teams. He is talented, but he shows inconsistency. As a coach, I would never choose to play Jayden Adams over Siphelele Mkhulise or Neo Maema.

"The Jayden Adams we saw at Stellenbosch was a marvel to watch; he was a very dangerous player. From Stellenbosch, he should have moved to Europe. However, at Sundowns, there are huge expectations, which is why he often comes on as a substitute, and when he does, he isn't making a significant impact.
"Adams is indeed very talented, but it's crucial for players to understand where they truly belong."
