It was while at Chloorkop that Nascimento won the Nedbank Cup, Telkom Knockout, MTN8, CAF Super Cup, CAF Champions League, and five league titles.
That was a haul of eight trophies in just under six years.
However, following the end of his time at Royal AM, the 36-year-old decided to fly across the Atlantic Ocean and return home.
Nascimento's departure from Royal AM came despite a solid season is which he scored thrice (plus two assists) in the 24 appearances that he made.

KickOff.com can now reveal that Nascimento has rejoined his former Rio Branco Esporte Clube, the club he joined as a 13-year-old and played for at all age groups until his professional breakthrough.
The left-footed defender has signed on a six-month deal and will play in the 2024 Campeonato Paulista – Serie A4.
This means Nascimento will play in the fourth-tier league of the Paulista championship which falls under the Sao Paulo Federation.
The state leagues in Brazil run from the first week of January with Nascimento due to start training with his new club on November 28 in preparation for the New Year.
"I have rejoined my former club in my hometown," Nascimento told KickOff.com from Brazil on Monday night.
"I have signed for six months so that I play in the state league which starts in January and will run for five months.
"I started my career with this club, so I have many good memories.

"So, my thinking with signing for six months is to not rush it and rather go little by little," says Nascimento.
